You must:

• satisfy the basic requirements;
• nominate a skilled occupation from the Skilled Occupations List;
• pass the points test;
• be either sponsored by an eligible relative living in Australia or nominated by a participating State or Territory government. Each State/Territory have their own list, which change from time to time.
